KYANKWANZI GRADUATES TO BECOME NRM AMBASSADORS
“Yesterday, I officiated at the pass-out of 289 youth leaders who have completed a two-month leadership course at the National Leadership Institute, Kyankwanzi.
I directed that this course happens after noticing a leadership skills gap among our young people. I want these graduates to become our ambassadors.
These youth should take interest in commercial agriculture and take advantage of the Operation Wealth Creation programme.
This will help in our push for a middle income status. We need to increase our exports as we reduce imports. Agriculture is critical in this. In the local currency, our economy is growing but the weak link is that we are not exporting as much as we are importing.”
