The 2017 Academy Awards Are Imminent: The Nominations List Is Out

On Tuesday, January 24, nominations for this year’s edition of the Academy Awards were revealed and “La La Land” predictably dominated the Oscar nominations tally, with up to 14 spots, including actor, actress, director and picture.

This will be the 89th Academy Awards ceremony, which will be presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).

The ceremony is poised to honor the best films of 2016 and will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California on February 26, 2017.
