Uganda Unveils Seven New Cities To Decongest Kampala

The government of Uganda has created seven cities across the East African country in a move to decongest the capital Kampala, the only city created at Independence in 1962.

David Bahati, minister of State for Finance, while speaking to the press said that the creation is in line with the country’s urbanization policy “to end the congestion, sanitation issues and confusion in Kampala.”

In 1995, Uganda had a population of 21m people and was collecting Shs 527 billion in revenue, which when adjusted to inflation comes to Shs 3.2 trillion in 2017 prices or Shs 151,000 per person.

It is known to be a tune of the middle 1900s. It is the renaissance genre of contemporary music in Uganda.

Whereas Africa’s amusement heritage was always enormous, when the continent opened up to the outside world, perceptions and attitudes were so predisposed to influences – some good, and among them, the music prospect.
